El patio II

Hello everybody!

I've had a good time these days working in my patio. It has been fun to make little by little all the small details, materials and tools for this patio that I had a very clear image of in my head, but I did not know if I could make it happen.

Aquí pequeños detalles que he ido haciendo poco a poco.
Here a few of those small details I have been making little by little.

I made this plant pot inspired by Carmen's original one in which she uses a can of Colacao as a pot for cuttings, I could not resist making one.

He buscado en la web y he hecho mis propios imprimibles utilizando imágenes reales.

I searched the web and made my own printables using real images. Then, with different materials, I have been putting together many of the things you see. The containers of gardening products (the green ones above) I made with air-drying dough, but they cracked a bit when I tried to change something when they were almost dry. I know that I will do them again because my OCD will not allow me to leave them like that, however I wanted to see the effect of everything I have already done in order to know what is missing.

I am using again popular ideas such as small plants and cuttings in those famous tea and food cans. Using cans as pots is an idea that I love in miniature.

Hice mi propia manguera yeeee.
I made my own hose yeeeaah

Have you noticed that I closed the lower part of the annex? Thank you very much for all your suggestions, it was not so easy to make a decision. In the end I decided to do a test and  I liked it closed, so closed will stay.

Trabajo aun tengo.

There are still things to do. I have to paint the walls but for that I must choose the color of the house as the annex will be the same color. I have to make it dirtier, of course, it's something that does not come easily to me, I think I always fall short. In this case I have to wait to paint with the final color. And there is a missing roof that I will leave open but will put beams and maybe a vine; the door  and windows frames for the kitchen, maybe some hanging plants, etc. I still have work to do.

However, although it is not finished, I could not resist putting the patio in its place and taking a lot of pictures of its current state.

Do you see the broken pot on the table? It's Carmen´s. I have been waiting for the right place to put it in, which of course is this patio. It's wonderful. The beautiful spider plant, you know it is also  Carmen´s, the one I won in her giveaway. And her original can with cuttings is above the sink. Helena is right, is there a house that does not have something of hers?

Amo esta foto/ Love this photo.

What do you think? Awww, although not finished, I can not stop looking at it. I love it, even if I say it myself 😊

Happy Valentine's Day for those who celebrate it and a happy week.

  3. It's wonderful! I love all of your little details like the gardening supplies. And you made them all yourself! Well done! Your plants in cans are all lovely and the Patio looks so good in place against the house. I think the beams for the ceiling are a great idea. Can't wait to see how you make them. :)

  9. What a gorgeous patio! I'd love to visit with you there a while!
I love the closed in lower section - it looks perfect! And the plants and all of the hand made accessories are truly wonderful!
I had some cracking with the paperclay on the roof tiles, but found that if I rubbed the cracks with a little water, they filled in and healed up nicely. Just a suggestion for you to try next time.
    Love, love, love it!

  14. It was really a pleasure to have a close look at your photos and to enjoy all the details added so carefully by you. You've done a wonderful job - and closing the bottom part of the wall and adding a broad window sill was the perfect solution for your wall. I really like all the pots/tins on parade. Bravo also on your pictures, they are so vivid, especially when they offer a glimpse to the kitchen.

    Hugs
